What does Communications Tower Group do?

CTG is an experienced developer, owner and manager of wireless infrastructure assets. Founded in 2015, we build towers to suit for anchor tenants, lease colocation space on our own assets, manage tower and in-building properties, and develop neutral host DAS systems.

Where does CTG own and operate towers?

Our assets are located primarily throughout the Southeast, Central and Texas markets, currently including Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida and New Hampshire. In addition to our development pipeline, we offer hundreds of managed sites on rooftops, retail centers and storage facilities.

How does the colocation process work?

It runs eleven steps from application to on-air. You submit an application; CTG reviews and approves it; you submit payment for engineering services; CTG performs engineering and drafts the site license agreement; you execute the agreement and submit installation documents; CTG reviews and issues NTP with a checklist; you install equipment and provide CX closeout documents. The site is then on-air complete.

Will CTG delay a build while looking for a second tenant?

No. We are committed to building on our anchor tenant's lease execution. CTG will not stall or delay the development of any asset based on finding a colocation to financially enhance the project. If we say we will build it, we will build it.

Why choose a neutral host DAS from CTG?

The vast majority of cellular communications originate indoors, yet many properties lack the coverage their tenants and clientele need. CTG DAS develops, engineers, owns and operates neutral host facilities, including in the demanding 24/7 environment of working hospitals, while satisfying both the property owner's needs and the wireless carrier's requirements.

What does a DAS system cost a building owner?

It depends on the model. From zero cost to shared financing, CTG DAS offers various hybrid business models to ensure the economics of your wireless coverage benefit the property as well as the end users.

Does CTG hold community meetings before building a tower?

Yes. Before we even consider building a tower, we research a prospective site's relationship to the aesthetic, historical and environmental standards of the community. We hold community meetings, offered in both English and Spanish, so residents can take part in that dialogue.
